Dealing with sudden loss, grief, trauma, and mental health issues at a young age while parenting has been a challenge and presented obstacles that only God has provided strength, wisdom, and comfort for her to navigate through. Her favorite passage is “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength”, Philippians 4:13. She is confident in God that no matter the obstacle, God is with her so she will not fall (Psalm 46:5). Jesus is the cornerstone of her Faith; the foundation is the Word of God, so she is rest assured in the peace that God gives her. Her faith was challenged in an unimaginable way. My living hope, Jesus, carried me through death, grief, and living with the stigma of my husband’s suicide. He took my ashes and replaced them with the beauty of hope, healing, and wholeness.
